spring summer2010

From winter to fall to spring, and then summer. I missed celebrating the Fourth of July, so we had our own celebration. Spring brought new chooks, our first egg and the final work to completion of the shed. We built arched roofing over the front deck, toughing it out through the late spring snows!

The Isa Brown chooks loved to inspect our handy work during building the deck. We sealed the road to the property to avoid on-going maintenance. This proved to by a wise move, since with each season's rain, we'd lose the surface - now it's so smooth.

Early summer we saw the return of the swallows in the carport, more garden goodies and finally the completion certificate for the cottage!
