Like minds with like interests, Graham, Mocha and I decided the best way to learn about green building - particularly Straw Bale construction - was to travel around the US in search of knowledge by volunteering on owner builder home projects. Our means of travel was a 28ft Airstream Travel trailer, which was our home for over 18 months. It was a wonderful experience I would not trade for anything!
We learned so much, especially living small and with less. Here starts our adventure in straw bale home construction techniques.
